What is Bible Doctrine?

Bible Doctrine is the body of teaching drawn from literal [normal, straightforward, plain] interpretation of the Scriptures.

It is the entire realm of God’s truth presented in nomenclature, categories, concepts, and principles that define God, the universe, angels, the angelic conflict, man, sin, salvation, Israel, the Church, the spiritual life, the dispensations, and eschatology.

Bible Doctrine is drawn from the content of the canon of Scripture [Holy Bible, which is the Word of God], with emphasis on the communication of that content to the individual souls of believers in Jesus Christ.

Where is Bible Doctrine found?

Bible Doctrine is communicated only by spiritually gifted Bible teachers . . . those individuals who, without special status, privilege, or merit received, solely on the basis of grace, the spiritual gift of pastor-teacher by God the Holy Spirit. (Ephesians 4:11

Why is Bible Doctrine important?

Bible Doctrine is the mind of Christ.

What, then, is the most important thing you should be doing?

In other words, what is your number one priority in life?

To take in Bible Doctrine.

Intake of Bible Doctrine in conjunction with intake of the Word of God is the only means of inheriting the mind of Christ.

“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 2:5, NKJV)

“For WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD, THAT HE WILL INSTRUCT HIM? But we have the mind of Christ.” (1 Corinthians 2:16, NASB)

The Word of God coupled with Bible Doctrine is the source of divine viewpoint.

Divine viewpoint thinking is the reality of the Word of God in your life. You are what you think!

“For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.” (Proverbs 23:7a, NKJV)

Divine viewpoint is the basis of revelation of God’s will for you. Divine viewpoint is your source of divine guidance.

“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” (Psalms 119:105, KJV)

Divine viewpoint is the mind or thinking of Jesus Christ.

Divine viewpoint will supplant [supersede and displace] your human viewpoint, lifting the veil of Satan’s cosmic system and allowing you to see the world through God’s lens.

“So Jesus was saying to those . . . who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”” (John 8:31-32, NASB, emphasis added)

When given a choice . . .

between work, leisure, activism, Christian service, philanthropic service, any other service or activity, or intake of Bible Doctrine . . .

Choose Bible Doctrine.

“For You [God] have magnified Your word [and Your doctrinal teaching] above all Your name [reputation].” (Psalms 138:2b, NKJV, emphasis added)

“Heaven and earth will pass away, but [God’s] words will never pass away.” (Matthew 24:35, CSB, emphasis added)
